Le Workshop hosts creative workshops for locals and visitors of the Shoalhaven looking to unleash their inner artist, learn something new and connect with other local like-minded people. With events ranging from macramé to resin art, alcohol ink art and floral arrangement, you can take up a new hobby, learn from local artists and make friends around a common interest.
Le Workshop was set up by Eugenie Loisance, a Franco-Aussie Sea Changer. Eugenie emigrated to Australia 10 years ago from France and after seven years in the corporate world in Sydney, she made the sea change with her husband and two daughters. Best. decision. ever! Despite living in paradise, something was missing and in the winter months, the isolation set in. Eugenie decided to look for ways to connect with others and follow her creative pursuits by attending a few workshops locally.
“I discovered the ease with which total beginners could learn new crafts, the magic of being in flow when creating and the wonderful connection that can happen among participants. I found myself wanting more and as a result, the idea of Le Workshop was born”.
“Our dream is to open a space where locals and artists can connect to create so we can build a community of like-minded souls, in the Shoalhaven”.
In the meantime, we are hosting several pop-up events around Jervis Bay and are working on bringing many more opportunities for locals to unleash their inner artist.
